I graduated from IU in 1973 and moved to Lancaster, PA to work in credit management for Armstrong World Industries.  That lasted 3 years and I left to join The High Companies, the largest bridge building company in the east coast (now the US), with many subsidiary firms, in construction related industries. I was in credit management with them for 5 years and transferred over to commercial real estate sales and leasing, joining one of their subsidiaries, High Associates, Ltd.  I have been selling and leasing industrial and office spaces since 1985. I love my job every day.

I married my husband, Jim, in 1982 and we will be starting our 31rst year of marriage when I see you all at the reunion.  Jim was a monitor mixer for rock bands, employed by the largest sound company in the world, Clair Brothers Audio.    I often traveled to see him.  He worked for Elvis, kiss, Kenny Rogers, Bruce Stringsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Barbara Striesand, and many more.  For the first 10 years of our marriage, I would join him all over the world, when I could get off work.

We had our children late in life.  I was 37 and 39 when I had John and Tom.  Jim got off the road when Tom was born and has since become a sound designer for Clair Brothers and designs systems for those purchasing systems (cruise ships, arenas, churches, Madison Square Garden, TV shows, etc.).  He no longer travels with rock bands.

John and Tom both play football and wrestled.  Jim and I were very involved as parents in our kids's sports and held leadership positions in their parents groups.  John is going to be attending a 2 year program for Mechanical Engineering Technology after taking 1 year off from college and working for Clair Brothers.  Tom started at Penn State in engineering this summer and is a "run on" for their football team.

We live in Lititz, PA, ranked by Budget Travel as the Coolest Small Town in America.  It really is great!  A true community!  It is a bedroom community of Lancaster.  Yes, the Amish live real near me.  I can watch them plow their fields while I sip my cocktails on a Friday night.

I love to make jewelry.  It is my main hobby.  I also love to sketch.  Reading is also very important to me.  Travel, when we can afford it with two kids in college, remains a passion for both Jim and I.

Well, that has been and is my life in a nutshell.  Looking forward to seeing you all!
