I sewed for a living for 15 years. Mostly women's clothes. I have worked in the business office for a large medical center for the past 10 years. I have done costuming for various entities, including the Shakespeare Festival here in Boulder. I have worked in a rehab center for birds of prey and was a volunteer naturalist for the Boulder Mountain Parks. I have spent most of the last 40 years in Boulder, CO. There is so much going on here and its so beautiful, why live anywhere else? I continue to work with fabric - art quilts ow, and an occasional costume. I hike and camp a lot when the weather is good. I'm fairly knowledgeable of the birds & flowers in Colorado. I'm learning the art of nature observation and animal tracking. I watched an amazing display of heat lightening this evening, which is rare to see here unless it is really hot. I love to dance and have lots of opportunities to here in the summer. Rock & roll has never gotten old for me! And I'm also trying to learn Tango!! |
