I graduated from Purdue’s School of Mechanical Engineering and enjoyed singing with the Purdue Glee Club. Before graduation I was in California on a church mission for a couple years. Most recently, I have been working for Philips Healthcare for 15 years, first as a project manager then as a Six Sigma Black Belt and now combining both skill sets. I recently obtained my Project Management certification. I met my wife, Kristen, in Dallas TX. (first weekend in Dallas working for Halliburton) She was raised in Idaho. We have been married for 31 years. We have lived in several places in Indiana, in Crystal Lake IL and in Bethlehem PA. Our current home is in Brownsburg IN (5 years). We loved being in PA. After living close enough to NYC to visit often, and after the hills and mountains of PA, I was surprised I could get my bride back to corn country. We count among our blessings our four children and 3 grandchildren. Our oldest, Jim, and his wife, Mercy, have two sons. He works as an auditor with PWC in Detroit. Our next child, Emma, is starting nursing school at IUPUI, working towards certification as a nurse midwife. Our middle daughter, Abbey, recently graduated from BYU in public health education, minoring in French. She and her husband will soon move to Fairfax VA where he begins graduate studies at George Mason University in geospatial intelligence. Our youngest, Natalie, lives in Indianapolis. She has a son and works full-time while pursuing a paralegal degree. Kristen and I love to travel and try new restaurants. For exercise we walk and I bike. I just switched to a recumbent bike and envision covering many miles on the country roads of Indiana. I’m still a busy member of the LDS church, currently working with young single adults ages 18-30 in central Indiana. It’s great reading about you and your families on Facebook. Keep posting! |
