Since last reunion, I have probably moved at least 3 or 4 more times and am now back in Chicago. My 2 elderly cats both crossed the rainbow bridge and a little over a year ago I adopted a 4 1/2 year old Whippet named Caesar. We're best pals and he drives back and forth with me to WL almost weekly since November when my mother's health took a drastic turn for the worse. Hopefully, Cubs games and globe hopping will commence again in the near future.

Never married, no kids and have enjoyed travelling all over the world.  Domestically, I’ve lived in Atlanta, GA, Hollywood, FL, Chicago, IL and presently living in the D.C. area.  I've lived twice in Germany, twice in Israel, and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Lesotho, Africa 2005-2007 followed by a 6-month solo overland trip from Cape Town to Cairo.  I returned to the U.S. in 2008, lost my job when the economy tanked in late 2008, remained unemployed for some time, and decided to go back to school.  I just completed my Master of Public Health (MPH) at University of Illinois at Chicago with a concentration in global health.  By the time this is published, I hope to be gainfully employed somewhere in the world working on programs which help build capacity and strengthen health systems in developing countries.  I am particularly interested in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and care.

I love travel (obviously), scuba diving, just about anything else on or in the water, and I enjoy nature and the outdoors when it’s reasonably warm outside (i.e. not the Midwest in the winter).
