Been active in AFA American Federation of Aviculture, Club Delegate 2000-2004 and State Delegate for AR 2006-present. Since 1999-present have specialized in GREAT BILLED PARROTS. Spent a month in the jungles of West Papua in 2006 studying these rare birds.  Have dedicated these past 14 years promoting the Great Bill Parrot with bird people, vets and veterinary schools. These birds have and need special care totally different from the average parrot.  I have great enjoyment   providing bird education for the schools here in Fort Smith, AR; Tulsa, OK;OKC OK area. As far as I know, one will not see any Great Bill Parrots in an exhibit unless you visit Loro Parque Tenerife. I live with: one Green Wing Macaw, one Blue and Gold Macaw, one Hahn's Macaw; two Timneh Greys- one with on wing tips or feet; and five Great Bill Parrots, two males, three females. One female Greyhound, and one male Ibizan Hound. All animals except two birds are rescues.  I have never married, one gentleman whom I went with for eight years did not want to marry "The Church".
