Since my last visit with y'all, it's now Carol an Chris. Following our 2010 wedding, officiated by Judge Pat Morrissey (WL-72), our combined family grew to five(+) healthy, happy, and employed offspring and spouses – Dr. Brooke (Lissy) & Devon Walls (Clearwater, FL), Joel & Jenny Lissy (Golden, CO), James Lissy (Golden, CO), Shane Ball (Nashville, TN), Joanna Ball (Charlotte, NC). Joel and Jenny are expecting the first grand-baby, Olive Elizabeth Lissy in early July and then they move to Grand Cayman for a new job. Delayed by the Federal Budget Sequester slowing FAA air traffic control training schedules, James is contemplating teaching ESL in Korea. The rest of the gang appear to be stationary for the near term…but that may not be the case. We may be alone here, but we’re usually the last to know. We recommend Friend-ing your offspring on Facebook if you want to have any chance of keeping pace. Despite almost 38 years in Colorado, Carol has made short work of making new friends in Charlotte. Her passion for all things beautiful and delicious; has quickly made our house into our home. Outside of helping me part-time at the office, the golf and swim-bike-run training for one event after another, has us usually going to bed close to 8:30PM. This makes our one local child (Joanna) laugh at us, but hey…I figure we’re old enough to decide when we go to bed…with or without permission. If you want to stop by, please do.
